I've installed Code Warrior for Palm OS R6, and I've downloaded all the .ZIP
files for the Palm OS SDK 3.5. I've installed SDK35-CW.ZIP, because it is a
program which correctly installs all the components in the correct places.
But, I'm a bit confused about SDK35-EXAMPLES.ZIP and SDK35-TOOLS.ZIP. I'm
not sure if I should extract these into my CodeWarrior parent directory, or
if I should move the "pieces" from the subdirectories into the corresponding
places in the CW tree. That is, should I overwrite existing files with
this?
For example, SDK35-TOOLS.ZIP extracts into a directory called, "Palm OS 3.5
SDK Other Tools". Now, should I copy this directory to my code warrior
parent directory or should I dig deeper into this directory and overwrite my
CW install with some of the pieces (like Palm OS Extras, PalmDebugger, and
PQA Builder).
The SDK 3.5 readme files is NOT clear about where to install ALL the various
SDK 3.5 pieces into the CW tree, and if some of the tools should be
overwritten or not (like the PalmDebugger, PQA Builder, etc).
Any help regarding the "correct" installation of SDK 3.5 over CW R6 would be
most appreciated.
