There is no way inside of a PQA to determine what platform you are running on, on the
server side, my guess would be to determine
the proxy IPs (or at least the range) from which the request is coming in from (since
they are static - for now anyways),
(HTTP_REFERER), Id keep 2 static variables for Palm.Net and OmniSky but they are most
likely to change in the future. The other
way would be to determine what the HTTP_USER_AGENT was from the OmniSky proxy (if it's
Elaine-type) or an exact header specific to
that server. Im not sure what the header reads since I dont use the service.
But that might be a start ...
