I am using the serial port to print, with hardware
handshaking at 9600. Everything works wonderfully
when something, e.g. Hyper Terminal, is attached to
the port. However, if nothing is attached, when it comes
time to close the port, SerClose NEVER returns
(until I plug something in). Just before calling SerClose,
I've tried a variety of things ... checking the status,
flushing buffers, turning off handshaking, setting 0
timeouts, etc ... all return with no errors, but no
approach has had any noticeable effect.
Behavior is identical whether using the emulator
or the device itself (tried Palm IIIx and Symbol 1500).
Anyone have a clue?
