What is with the attitude?

If you don't want to help just don't help. Many of us are not as
experienced as you. That's why they call us beginners. We DO read
the documentation. We DO look at the examples. Much of what is
there assumes more knowledge that many of us have. That's not a
fault, it's just the way it is. This group, I think, is to solve all
problems, not just your problems. Maybe I'm wrong.

That may be what you meant but that is not what you said.

"However, we're lucky because the floating point functions
are in the main code resource, so they just happen to work", seems to
imply that if they were somewhere else, they would not work. That is
why I asked the question.

"that theory doesn't matter" could mean, and is the way that I took it,
that it "just doesn't apply in this case", because of the statement
just prior to those words.

But I can tell that you meant "no", to my question.

First, the problem is real. Many others have posted the same error.

Second, if I knew what part was causing the problem, to be able to
include a small snippet, I'd know how to solve the problem. It
doesn't happen on any of the very small examples that I have tried.

Third, since many have this problem, it is likely that some will have
figured out what causes it, that is why I posted the question.

I have checked the newsgroup shown. There are suggestions, which I
have tried. There are no clear explanations as to what is going on
here. We are all still in the guessing stage here.

John, you may wish that all beginners go away but I hope that others
on this group will still continue to provide assistance to us
beginners. AND we all know of your contributions and thank you for
them. Without your contribution, we would not even have the
opportunity to ask questions about a tool, that would not even exist.
