Hello Everyone,
We have been fighting around with this strange error with no solution. We
are trying to compile the Datebook supplied by Palm Inc. on Codewarrior -
although we have succeeded in compiling - the .prc doesn't load on to the
emulator - the emulator greets us with a "dmErrMemError" We need to compile
Datebook because we need to change the Datebook to suit our purposes.
Sitting with this problem for weeks together I guess it can be becos of one
of these :
1. Multi-segment - The Datebook has a large code model is multi-segment. I'm
not very clear about what multi-segment is - I guess it is something about
far pointers. Could someone put light on this.
2. The datebook has code like
#if EMULATION_LEVEL = EMULATION_NONE
I guess the problem has something to do with this
This is a very strange error - very strangely I have got no response from
Palm Inc yet too. So my only hope is this community - hope one of the 50,000
help !!
