Not sure, but can't you just take the .rsrc out of resource.frk directory
and copy it to/from the Mac?
Also, one thing that drives me nuts is the fact that the .mcp and .rsrc
files are binary and make diffs and history tracking virtually impossible.
We use Perforce for source code control and it has a great facility for
resolving changes made by different people to the same file, but you can't
use it on resource or project files.
I realize changing the resource file format would be bad because it would
break compatibility with the Mac.
However, changing the project file to be text and editable like a UNIX
makefile would be a really nice thing. That or having some more power and
flexibility in it. We're about to experience an explosion (to over 20) in
the number of targets in the project as we go localize our apps for a few
countries. There are many things that are common to all targets such as the
C++ settings and the Post Linker version number. Now I have to check each
one of manually and this leads to bugs.
I assume you just use makefiles with GCC, right?
