I'm curious about this message.  I have several users who report the same
thing.  I can only get it if I try to start the HotSync Manager on the
desktop and the serial port is busy.  I don't see how resetting a Palm will
fix it since it occurs even before the Palm is placed on the cradle.  It
seems like it is a desktop thing.

Do these errors appear on the Palm or the Desktop?
