No, because then it would go onto the Macintosh as just a standard
data file, rather than a Resource Fork. You have to either use some
utility (I don't know which) or copy the file via a floppy disk, so
that the inbuild PC Exchange software on the Macintosh will write the
resource.frk file as a proper Resource Fork.

I sure would like to know what clown at Apple invented this
Data/Resource fork business, because I'd just love to hit them with a
great big stick! What is wrong with the *single* file system that is
used by just about every other computer in the world?

Yes, text project files would be nice.

Yes, and I would probably use them with CodeWarrior as well, seeing
as it's IDE is in such a sorry state (which is a shame, 'cause the
code generator in CodeWarrior ROCKS) IMHO. But seeing as CodeWarrior
neither has a command line compiler that I know of, nor generates .o
or .obj files like almost every other compiler does, makes that a
little difficult!

Why reinvent a way of doing something if everyone else already does
it in a way which works?
