I have an application that allows the user to beam the associated database (pdb) to another user via exchange manager calls (ExgPut, ExgDBWrite, ExgDisconnect). For the most part it works OK, but I noticed a little strangeness. Whenever the database is beamed from a color device to a lower device (specifically Palm IIIx, Palm III), the lower device gets a "Data received in unknown format" message. Is there some difference in the exchange manager between OS versions? Is there something special I needed to do or accomodate for when beaming? Any help would be appreciated.
