I have tried to make my records as small as possible, but it seems that each record takes up 1K no matter what I do. That is, I look at the memory occupied before and after deleting some records, and the size goes down my 1K with each record I delete. Most records will take up only about 150 bytes, and there may be thousands of them. Have my efforts to compress the records been in vain? Perhaps the memory manager will be more efficient when it starts to run out of space??
