Hi Sudipta,

This has been posted here a lot recently (you might want to search the
archives for a more detailed explanation) but in sum, there was a change in
the implementation of fields between OS 3.0 and later OSes. The version of
Constructor in R5 didn't handle this change properly which is why you see
the underlines in later OSes. This was fixed in the PalmRez Post Linker in
R6.

The best solution would be to update to R6, but barring that I think
(someone correct me if I am wrong) it is also possible to set the attribute
settings in code to workaround this problem. Sorry, I don't know what the
exact code snippet would be but I think it's been posted in the egroups
archives. Also, and this has not been tested, I think it is possible to
download and install the Palm OS 3.5 SDK and plug into your R5 installation,
and then use the version of PalmRez in that one to postlink your app, which
will fix the problem. I would try this out and verify it, but unfortunately,
I don't have immediate access to the resources to do this right away. Give
me a day or so, and I'll verify it. To plug Palm OS 3.5 SDK into R5, install
R5, install the Palm OS 3.5 SDK, and then install the two R5 patches - Patch
1 and Patch 2 from www.metrowerks.com/download in that order.
