I had the same question and posted before. I got a reply from the David
Fedor for Palm saying that CW6 is needed to get color app icons. I used CW5
to develop Color SketchPad, a 3.5 app:

When I get CW6, I will add the color app icon.

Subject: CW 5 and SDK 3.5

Now that I've gotten CW5 stable as a development environment.. must I use
CW6 in order to port my code to the 3.5 SDK? I know I could switch to GCC
but I prefer not to.

Every release of CW I've gotten has been quirky as heck. I'd really hate to
slow down my productivity gains by introducing yet another buggy version.

Thanks for any suggestions.
