Does the crash occur only with HotSync 3.0.3?  That is, when users call and
say they have the problem, can I just tell them to upgrade to 3.0.4 or
later?

We're very busy right now, and are about to release a new version, and would
like to avoid rebuilding and retesting the old conduit with CDK 3 if
possible.
