This is a bug that engineering knows about, the same one that Ken was
mentioning in the "PalmOS 3.5 memory leak surviving a reset" thread, and
I'm told that a patch is already in the works.
As for the comment/question from Paul Dugas:

Well, any application could simply allocate records in a database
endlessly, which would have the same effect. Ditto for any program running
on your pc... so yes it is a bug but the sky isn't falling on our heads.
