Well, you could turn off the "Activate Browser" option in your preferences...but
that way you won't get any
browser info...
We should be releasing a fix for this very soon.

This seems to be a bug that started showing up a few months ago when
people moved to CW R6 from CW R5.
I too am getting this error, but in CW R6. For the record, I am using
Windows 2000.
I have found that marking the source code changed (even without changing
it) will cause it compile right the second time. Others have suggested
just hitting the "Make" button twice will work because the problem is in
a link-step not a compile step.
To my knowledge, Metrowerks/3comm no one has suggested a less annoying
