If the character sheet you are talking about just contains text, another
approach you could take is to just create a Palm DOC file with PalmDocs (on
a PC), SmartDoc (on a Palm), or a similar program.  This would only take a
few minutes.  Of course, if you want to do something fancier, you can write
your own program.

Patrick Mabialah has written PdbBuilder.dll which you can use with any 32
bit Windows development environment to create PDBs.  It's probably available
at PalmGearHQ, but if it's not, you can email Patrick at
