I'm not aware of any problem with underlining and the field editable state.
There is a known bug in the field code, which occurs when the
FieldType.attributes.underline value is set to either solidUnderline
or colorUnderline. In those cases, the field code still draws the
underline as dotted (the sections of lines without any text) using
WinDrawGrayLine, but text is drawn using using the correct underline.
