You have that right Dave! In the next few years, I can see a total mess of bus
standards coming out leaving us hardware developers
with a lot of strategic decisions to make. If you remember the early 90's, there was
a ton of different busses for PCs coming out
such as EISA, PCI, XISA, NuBus2, PC-104 and the like. Eventually, there will be a
shakedown.
... then there is all the different wireless standards!
