Yes, that's true. I've informed the docs folks, and I think your
observations were accurate.
However, I'd highly recommend that you switch to the newer documentation.
As people (like you!) point out things in the documentation that need
changing, we do it... so there are lots of bug fixes in the newer docs,
even in chapters on "old" material.
