Subject: constructor 1509 and resource bpgt
Today I took the plunge and downloaded constructor 1509. After extracting
the construcor .exe and replacing my previous one in the CodeWarrior folder,
I fired it up.
Then I opened the DateAgenda.rsrc from the 3.5 Sdk's Datebook example and
copied its Agenda View form to my favorite project -- along with the
associated DayView, WeekView, MonthView, and AgendaView bitmaps found in
DateMisc.rsrc. I then generated source in Constructor, returned to my
CodeWarrior (v6) project, and compiled (or at least tried to).
This resulted in the following error message: "Link Error : Form using
resource bpgt ID=2503 which can't be used by forms." Examining the Agenda
View form reveals that it contains four Graphic Push Buttons, the first of
which has Object ID 2503. Coincidence? I think not. Could "resource bpgt"
be typical Codewarrior byte order mangling of "resource tgpb", standing for
resource Type Graphic Push Button? I think so.
So. Has anyone else tried to use Graphic Push Buttons? Could this feature
be BUSTED?? H E L P ! ! ! !
