Hello,

Please ignore my previous post. I have found the problem.

I have set up some mount points with "c:\\" instead of "c:\" (double
backslah instead of single backslash)
These were NOT causing an error to occur so I didn't realize that.

Once I have changed to single backslash I'm able to compile.

I think I finaly have got it up and running !!!!!!!

I will summarize all the experiences of the PRC-Tools setup and publish them
later this week on my homepage (http://www.vfdide.com) for others to
participate.

Would be great if somebody can try to verify if the setup description will
be right and will lead to a working installation.

Thanks in advance
Ole

Subject: PRC-Tools 2.0 Setup - Second question. Still no running environment

Hello,

Thanks a lot for the little pieces of information I've got from you - Aaron.
I'm a big step further to a running environment now. It was realy helpful.

I have ironed out the env.settings and the mount points and the sdk3.5
include files.
My compile.bat now starts up and finds the correct environment (I think).

Unfortunately I still get the following error and have no idea what it
means.
Do you have the same ?

Starting the compile.bat in

C:\PalmDev\Docu\samples\tutorial

returns

m68k-palmos-gcc -c tex2hex.c -o tex2hex.o
M68K-P~9.EXE: tex2hex.c: No such device or address
M68K-P~9.EXE: No input files

When I provide the full drive/path to the text2hex.c file gcc finds it but
complains about additional things with the same error message as above.

I have the feeling that I'm still missing an environmental setting.

Any ideas from anybody out there ??

Thanks in advance
Ole
