I am getting consistent crashes in PalmOS calls. I am about to give up.
Is there some form of paid support I can go to? I just don't understand
why PalmOS keeps crashing on my programs.
When I call them, either the CW debugger crashes (if I running the
debugger) or the unit gives a "fatal error" (if I am in non-debug roms).
A lot of times I will get a more descriptive (but by know means more
useful) error "Application is writing to unallocated chunk".
So tell me, those privledged few who can see the source code, what would
cause FrmSetActiveForm to write to an unallocated chunk when it is
passed a valid FormPtr? I can't even guess becuase I don't have the
code.
I am inclined to believe it is something to do with /my/ program but
since I only pass one variable and I know it is valid, I don't see _how_
I could be my program.
I am following the example code provided in CW as closely as possible.
It just doesn't work. maybe the problem is with CW not linking
correctly.
I have no idea. I just get these mysterious crashes and there seems to
be no rhyme or reason to it.
Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior?
