Thanks for the reply. I've been digging in the archives and saw all the discussion
that was going on about the Helper App message that was going on at the time.
I'm a (real) novice, so I'm probably going to spend some time on the learning
curve.

I also find that running the latest seeding of POSE (a6) really helps out. I've only
seen the now infamous BDWM message once since
using it with R6.
This "BDWM" error message was getting so persistent and ignored I was considered doing
a T-shirt campaign at the next PalmSource if
it wasn't fixed by then.
