Hi folks.
I'm a relatively newcomer to PalmOS programmer, and interested in finding
out what is involved in coding the wireless communications functionality on
WAP enabled Palm Pilots? I was recently looking at the WAPman client, and
although the user interface elements(forms, buttons, menus etc) look very
easy to implement, I have no idea as to how to code for implementing the
wireless communications functionality.
I'm learning about iNetlib API which is similar to traditional network
programming. I found that relatively easy to digest since I've been doing
some sockets programming at college(although I'm still a beginner). However,
I'm not sure whether WAP works in this way.
I guess my question is, how similar/dissimilar would implementing the comm.
part of a WAP client for PalmOS be to all of this more traditional network
programming stuff?
Are there any internet resources which go into all of this stuff? Would
really appreciate advice.
Thanks,
Akshay
