I don't think you need to do anything.  Just use them.  If you want to use
the older float functions, include NewFloatMgr.h with your headers and
NewFloatMgr.lib in your project.  (If you're using CW, you could also check
and make sure you have PalmOS floating point types selected under
Settings->CodeGeneration->68KProcessor->FloatingPoint)

You could also post a few examples of your errors and how you are using the
calls.
