How can you use the serial port and beam at the same time? Palm devices
have only 1 serial UART (with the exception of an upgraded Pro) that is tied
up with either the serial port or IR port. I could see errors in your app
occurring if you attempted to use the IR and serial ports simultaneously.
There are tons of examples for using pointers and handles. Including the
built in app source (included with the SDK) and articles in the Palm
Knowledge Base.
