Yes, online can be programmed to send STX and ETX. You can either assign
them to a macro (accessed via popup menu), one of the 4 hardware buttons,
or 4 on-screen programmable buttons.

See the online tips dialogs for the syntax and usage.

Online supports new serial manager, so you can send those bytes out the
serial port, IR, or any registered real or virtual port.
