If this were a very public forum, like comp.sys.palmtops.pilot, I would
agree -- but this list, although anybody -can- join, is essentially the
playground of palm developers.  Joe User isn't likely to stick around
to watch the neepery, you have to be pretty interested in how to set
lists into popups and why you can't select the entire row in a table
to wade through this forum.  Plus the exposure is not as great as
the public newsgroups.  You can access it as a newsgroup primarily
from one server,  maintained by Palm Computing, and you can read
it on the web at eGroups, or get it sent straight to your mailbox.  But
it is not mirrored on all the standard usenet feeds.   Overall, I think that
exposing a security issue here is not the "come-and-get-it" call that
you seem to believe it is (although posting the same message on
comp.sys.palmtops.pilot would be).
