Thank you for your bug report. It appears that the 4.18 release of gdb
was always broken like this when cross-debugging between machines of
differing endiannesses.

Fixing it requires rebuilding m68k-palmos-gdb. It's fixed in the current
development gdb source, and I've fixed it in the SourceForge prc-tools
version. If you want, you can rebuild m68k-palmos-gdb yourself; the change
relative to the patches in prc-tools 2.0 or 0.6.0beta is at

One way or another, this bug will be fixed in prc-tools 2.1.
