OK, I am writing code that uses the Palm VII. Got that part. However I need to uniquely id the device, and using the device code as used by PQA "apps" is appropriate. BUT I am unable to locate documentation on .... a.) the format eg in x.yyyyyyyy.zzzzzzzzz, exactly what are the x, y, and z's. b.) how can I derive theses number using the API set? I am currently reading the ROMTokenID, but without knowing what each of the parts are I am not sure how to construct the correct string. I could use an arbitrary unique ID (such as serial #), but, we are trying to maintain backward compatibility with the existing PQA. Any pointers to the appropriate docs - all I am reading regarding the Palm VII is PQA related, except for the INetMgr API set - which I don't think detailed the DID. Anyone have any suggestions?
