I took the 5 day class in April in Atlanta.  I don't think I learned anything at
all in the first day - too basic - but I learned more over the next 4 days than
I had in several months of playing around in my spare time.

My class was also taught by JB Parrett.  He did an excellent job.  The
real-world experience was important, because he backed up the course material
with horror stories and cautionary tales.

We were told that the course materials were being revised for 3.5.  If you are
not in a rush, you might consider waiting until this happens.  While the
materials are excellent, they are also dated.
