question is Dave, we know we can upgrade our own devices using the 3.3
update utility.. but *when* will Palm be offering their operating
system upgrade to 3.5? (similar to the 3.3 upgrade)?
back in early February, it was said that the 3.5 upgrade would be
available for 'general' consumers around one month after the release
of the color devices (which has expired since then) :P
rumors are floating around, regarding that there may be a cost
involved with the upgrade etc. etc. when will Palm comment on this
issue. there is also the issue of existing 3.5 devices and the file
known as the "System" file - after each reset (soft) this thing
grows by 1-2K, would you like to shed some light on this issue? :P
or maybe not you, but someone :)) i upgraded my palms to 3.5, and
i get bugged like hell by people wanting the same thing.. i would
love to say "goto www.palm.com, you can upgrade now".
