I was wondering what approaches have been taken when
wanting to add just one or two features to one of the Palm
standard apps.
For example:
Add one new menu item to the Address book to launch
a custom app, then return to the address book.
Something like DateBk3 needs to be a completely seperate app
that replaces using the Palm Datebook. But for just a few new
menu items or buttons, what is the best approach?
I'm imagining that Palm would frown on taking the source
code to Address book, putting a new menu item and hook
into it and distributing it as my own application.
Your experience is most appreciated.
