yes its 1/10farad @ 5.5v
There are several capacitor types with small footprints and high capacity.
Panasonic makes a line of 'Gold' capacitors that look like standard radial
electrolytic capacitors but are rated up around 1.0 - 4.7 Farads. Check
your digikey catalog.
