Hello Karen,
The Palm VII does not use AvantGo, it has its own "web clipping" technology
- see www.palm.net and the palm provider pavilion for more information. I
am not aware of a way to perform hotsync through a Palm VII connection, but
some 3rd party may have developed a way to do this. Finally, being out of
range is not a problem for development purposes, you just need a Palm
emulator, the PQA developer kit and a OS 3.2 ROM. You can run the Palm VII
session on a Windows PC through the emulator, and it will route to the
internet using the PC's TCP/IP stack.
