I had this problem and fixed it by calling the the unhighlight.  This is the
code I use.

  TblUnhighlightSelection(ptrTable);
  WinEraseRectangle(&DisplayArea,0);
  TblRedrawTable(ptrTable);
  TblSelectItem(ptrTable,SelectRow,0);
