Although the APIs use a UInt16 to refer to memory card numbers, in reality due to
address space limitations, there can never be more than 16 cards. Changing this
limitation would require substantial modifications to the way the Palm OS addresses
RAM and ROM, so it's probably a safe bet for several years to come that this field
will remain 4 bits in size.
Of course, that *could* change... our usual disclaimers apply... ;o)
