The pdQ has a smaller default stack free, and a slightly smaller heap free.
I'd check the KB on how to add a stack resource for your app -- when I added
a 6kb stack to the HP Cooltown eSquirt application all my weird problems
went away.

Subject: pdQ woes
Ok, my app runs flawlessly on the emulator using an OS 3.0 debug ROM & 2
Megs RAM
Move over to the pdQ smartphone (OS 3.0.2, 2 Megs RAM) and it falls
apart, generally returning NULL from calls to MemPtrNew()
I suspect (but have no way of checking) that some heap fragmentation may
be going on.
Any clues or tips are welcome.
Debugging the device via the serial port is not an option; I'm using it
to connect to the internet via PPP.
My emulator tests include both with TCP/IP redirection, and without,
looping the two serial ports together via a null modem.
