I'm having some problems with UltraLite and from my last attempt on the
UL newsgroup (which I only have infrequent access to) I can tell that it
is not as large a forum, so I will post here in the hopes that there are
other UL developers here :)

So, here's what I'm trying to do. I wrote part of my application for
the Palm in Codewarrior using the basic stuff, and looked at the conduit
stuff. The project manager now wants me to try UltraLite so I made a
very basic application using the UL code that does nothing but show a
form. Unfortunately I can't seem to set up the databases to synch...

The consolidated database is SQL Anywhere 5.0 and I can't get the proper
synch tables into it. I have a reference database (ASA 7.0.0.415) that,
to the best of my knowledge, has everything it needs. I can't get any
synchronization scripts into the consolidated database. Any time I try
it tells me:

The setup script has not run properly. Some MobiLink synchronization
tables are missing.

Well, unfortunately I can't get the tables in there since there is no
setup script for this database engine. Is it only possible to use ASA,
ASE, Oracle 8i and DB2, or can it truly use ODBC data sources for other
engines? If the latter, how can I get the synch tables in there, where
can I find out what they are? Is there something else I am doing
wrong? Are there any good tutorials for ASA 7.0 MobiLink that show you
how to do it when the consolidated and reference databases are NOT the
same?

I'd love to use UltraLite, but without getting the synchronization going
there's no point in writing any code...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sam
