Hi everybody, I have posted this over at the conduit development forum but there doesn't seem to be too much activity over there so I thought I would try here. I've been staring at this one for a while now, any help with this would be greatly appreciated. >I am trying to get a conduit running that I made using the Conduit >Wizard of VC++. I am following the Appendix B "Quck Start: Using VC++ >to Build a Sample MFC Conduit" of the WinConduitCompanion.pdf document. >I am trying to get a conduit running for my own application, however, >not the memopad application (I did that already and it worked). >What happens when I run the debugger is that first I get a message > "Unable to find dependency walker" >If I don't press ok fast enough I get a whole bunch of these windows >then the conduit inspector window comes up and I get an error message: > "Debug assertion failed > conduitinspectord.exe > file: afxwin.inl > line: 96 >then another window pops up with: > conduitinspectord > This program has performed an illegal operation >and I have to press close to exit the conduit inspector > >I have downloaded what I think is the dependency walker from microsoft >but I don't know what directory to put it in so it can be found. Also I >didn't have this problem before (no request for dependency walker) but I >was stupid and changed some settings in the project settings window of >VC++ and recompiled. I don't think I changed anything significant but I >can't seem to get the right settings back. Another possibility is my >settings when I use Condcfg.exe. I am not real sure what these settings >should be when I modify them from the setup for memopad to accomodate my >program. Anybody recognize this problem or have any ideas?
