I just realized that "AportisDoc (Reader and Mobile Edition) ... overwrite
the first two bytes of length with zeros (even if the document is more than
64k bytes in length!) upon first opening the document. " [see

This is really BAD. Do you know why this is done? So how can I count 100%
reliably and very quickly the uncompressed size of a doc?
I know that there is "sizes 2*records bytes record size array" right after
the header, but it may or may not be there. I'd like to read the size w/o a
lengthy initialization.
Any suggestions?
