Steve:

Those shared libraries have to be built with all of the symbology
information. In other words the debug option in compiling must be
on. I think the option is "-g" but I am not positive. Palm technical
support should provide you with the debug version of these libraries
or must demonstrate to you how you can compile them using the source.
Sorry, I can not be more specific!!

Subject: Debugging Shared Libraries

Hi all,

I am using CodeWarrior R6 on WinNT4 to create an application that consists
of a number of shared libraries and a main program which uses these
libraries. I need some suggestions on how to debug the shared libraries.
Sure I can run my application in the debugger, but I cant set breakpoints
within the library code or step through the code. Am I missing something or
do I need a different approach? I thought about building the libraries as
stand alone applications, debugging them and then converting them to
libraries. What do the experienced developers do?

Steve
