Hi Clancy,
Such type of error occurs when "USABLE" attribute of that field is UNCHECKED.
Hence go to the resource file(.rc file)
Select the form containing your date control
Select the date control
Check its usable attribute
And save the changes
This will work

I am currently attempting to add a "date created" field to the palm address

I get Form.C: 1272 Object not in form when I select the date field to open
the date selector form. It happens when GetObjectPtr is called in
