Our software does this as part of its File and Software distribution
function using a TCP/IP client running on the palm. This client connects to
a TCP/IP server running on the available network (how available depends on
how you connect) which delivers the PRC.
Since a program other than the one being replaced is being run we simply
replace the existing app with the new app.
