I was doing some debugging with CodeWarrier recently and it looked like the
"view memory" option was totally messed up. When I clicked on a local stack
variable whose value was 0 and clicked "view memory", instead of showing me
the memory address of the variable, it jumped me to the 0x0000 memory
location. It wouldn't let me look at the address of the stack variable.
When I changed the variable to be global instead of local to that procedure
it seemed to work OK.
This was while debugging on the current emulator.
Has anyone else seen this problem? In general I find that I can't really
trust the values that CodeWarrier is showing me for variables.
Is there a fix? Is this really a problem? I looked on the Metrowerks website
and it looks like there are no updates for CWR6.
Thanks,
Dan
