The workaround for this while developing/testing is to establish
an actual PPP connection with POSE and bypass the NetLib redirection.
This is relatively easy if you're using Linux. Just connect pppd and
POSE through a pseudo tty (I can post short instructions for those
may not know how). I don't know if there's an equivalent solution
on Windows other than using another machine as a PPP server. At any
rate, I'm sure this has been explained before, but I reiterate it for
anyone who is having difficulties.
