I was the original poster, and having performed the upgrade earleir this
week, I have not found any problems, even the "many games" (come on we all
know this is the main point of having a palm device :-) ) I have work
without error.
So to ayyone thinking of trying, go for it, BUT do remember to have a good
backup of your machine prior to doing so. Also having a copy of your
existing ROM (3.3 or 3.1) is a good idea as well, juts in case you want to
revert.

update my Palm V to OS3.5 Where on Palm Pavillion is this? Can you send me
the link? I have been able to test with POSE but they want a real test done
with the V running OS3.5

Kevin, you will need to go to the Provider Pavillion section of the Palm
Devzone: http://www.palmos.com/dev/pavilion/
Sign up...it's rather painless, and you will be assigned a password. Unless
you know of someone who is willing to send you a ROM file, you will have to
sign up -- I'm not one of those willing people...sorry. :) Once you are
able to get into the "pavillion" you will see links to documentation and to
the ROM files for loading them into POSE or loading them into the Palm.
If you need any specific help with this, please let me know.

Honestly, if you can't answer this question yourself then you probably
shouldn't be
making unsupported upgrades to your device.
Any reason NOT to use the emulator for testing?
