  i think the minimum "standard" right now is 3.0 - however, if your app
  is not that demanding and can run on 1.0 or 2.0, do it :))

  i currently support 2.0 (Palm Professional, not Personal) in all my 
  applications because i can - thats the only reason.. if i could get 
  my apps working on 1.0, i am sure i would do that too :P

  however, with the % of users using 1.0 - i can vouch for the fact
  that you will spend more time trying.. than selling :))
