Don't bet on that. Palm has had a policy of being very quite and secure about future
products. Look how well the color unit was
kept under wraps. There could be VZ units in production and warehoused right now.
ARM is a whole new ball of wax. Compiling and
porting an OS with so many third party apps is a significant effort.
My personal guess is that you will see VZ machines by the end of the year and if ARM
works out, none of that will hit public product
'til middle of 2001 at the earliest.
