I applied the advice received in this forum to use the "Small"
memory model instead of the "Smart" memory model.
The program has 10 segments.
I made sure all of my segments were less than 32KB and
then switched to the "Small" memory model and rebuilt.
The program size dropped from 283KB to 225KB. Phew!!!
